About Cherry and Black Walnut Wood

Cherry wood is a premium American hardwood prized for its beautiful grain, natural luster, and rich, warm glow. The Moisture Guard™ Hearing Aid Dryer box is constructed from solid Cherry wood harvested from forest regions in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. All areas are recognized for their sustainable forestry practices. Once your new Moisture Guard™ Electronic Hearing Aid Dryer arrives, it will be light and golden in color. Over time, the color will darken to a deep, rich, reddish-brown. Darkening occurs gradually as the wood is exposed to light. How quickly your Cherry wood Moisture Guard™ darkens will depend on the amount of light to which it is exposed.

The wood of the American Black Walnut Tree was found to be hard, beautiful, and durable by early American colonists who fashioned the Walnut wood into furniture for themselves and exported the wood to Europe. The wood of the Black Walnut tree stump, often referred to as Black Walnut Burl, was found to be especially beautiful, desirable and very expensive. The furniture made from this burl is now revered as highly-valued antiques seen often in museums. The Walnut wood used for manufacturing the Moisture Guard™ comes from forest regions in Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. All areas are recognized for their sustainable forestry practices. Like Cherry, Walnut is unquestionably one of the finest woods in the world.

Being an Eco-friendly company, S&S Hearing Aid Maintenance Products purchases lumber grown and harvested solely for the purpose of building materials. In addition, we do not import lumber from outside the United States of America.
