I hadn't indicated which wood I wanted and, since I was in a rush to receive the Dryer, he wanted to make sure that happened. I received a well-packaged box the next day :-) When I opened the packing box, I found a quality white gift box with a gold label on the top. Inside, packed in yellow tissue paper was the Dryer, a beautiful, nicely grained, cherry wood box, designed and made like a high-quality jewelry box. The pictures online look nowhere as nice as the actual box. So much for the aesthetics. I am so glad I found out about this dryer and followed up on it. It works better than I was told it would and my husband's hearing aids come out like brand new, every time. My husband has had problems with his hearing aids ever since he got them about 5 years ago. They would work for about a week and then would stop working. Then he would stop wearing them for a while and I would have to go back to repeating, repeating, repeating everything. He would get them fixed and then the cycle would start all over again. The Dryer has truely resolved a tough issue for us. Wanting the best product to prolong it’s life, some diligent web research lead me to "Moisture Guard." I needed to be sure however, that it would be a safe & beneficial product for my Oticon hearing aid. Therefore, I contacted Oticon directly with my question: Will the Moisture Guard's maximum temperature of 112 to 114 degrees Fahrenheit affect in any way the user disposable/replaceable open dome protecting the ear speaker and / or any other internal components of the hearing aid? Oticon's response: "Oticon’s recommended temperature range for operational use of our hearing instruments (and domes) is 34-104 degrees Fahrenheit. When worn, your body heat will keep the devices well above the 34-degree level. Temperature ranges for storage are minus 13 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. If the upper range on your electronic drying kit is 114 degrees, both the instruments and domes will be fine. Thank you for contacting Oticon, Inc." The Moisture Guard arrived & it couldn't be any simpler to set-up or use...! The wooden box is expertly crafted blending seamlessly with my bedroom's decor, while the front panel LED let's me know quickly if the unit is turned-on either during daylight or after dark. Overnight, it silently drys and freshens my aid for another day of optimal performance. Two thumbs up, Moisture Guard! I sleep better knowing your on the job."
